Whether you’re an Aries, a Pisces, or anything in between, Canada’s newest silver horoscope coin will surely captivate astrology lovers.

Vintage lovers and ’90s babies remember how major whimsical sun-and-moon patterns were in the ’90s and early aughts. You probably had a bedsheet or a home decor item like this at home:

The Royal Canadian Mint has just released a silver coin called the Zodiac Signs. It’s a stunning addition to any collection, especially if you love vintage motifs of the sun and moon.

Representing the 12 zodiac signs, the coin weighs two ounces. It’s made with 99.99 per cent pure silver, has a face value of $30, and retails for $259.95.

“Its colour-over-engraved design features a dazzling blue night sky and painted metallic gold accents that reflect our collective captivation with cosmic arrangements and all the different meanings attributed to them,” reads the website.

The coin, designed by B.C.-based artist Jori van der Linde, is arranged like a compass, and it’s divided into 12 sections by the sun’s rays, while the centre features the moon with different phases.

The obverse features an effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.

Not only is this retro design a great keepsake, but it makes for a special gift for someone intrigued by astrology.

Each coin is presented in a black clamshell beauty box with a special insert that lists the dates and symbols for each sign. And because the Mint certifies all of its collector coins, it also includes a serialized certificate.

The Zodiac Signs coin has a low mintage, with just 4,000 available. According to the Mint, the zodiac theme is a collector’s favourite, so you might want to order yours soon. The coin is available for purchase online at official Mint stores.
