The Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will release a ₹100 commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the Birth Centenary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on November 19, 2025, at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.
The event is expected to be held in the presence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu; the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Pawan Kalyan; the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Syed Abdul Nazeer; and other eminent dignitaries.
The Vice President of India, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, will also attend on November 22 as the chief guest at the 44th convocation of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. Additionally, the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, has accepted the invitation to participate in the centenary celebrations organized by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, underscoring the national significance of the event.
The Birth Centenary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba marks 100 years since the birth of the revered spiritual leader, philanthropist, and humanitarian, born on November 23, 1926, in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. Sri Sathya Sai Baba inspired millions through his message of love, selfless service, and unity of all faiths. His life’s mission emphasized “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never.” Over the decades, he established world-class institutions in the fields of education, healthcare, and rural development, reflecting his vision of service to humanity as service to God.

This release should mark the 31st commemorative coin of 2025. The Ministry of Finance, through its gazette notification dated April 22, 2025, confirmed the issuance of this coin. Additionally, several more commemorative coin releases are expected this year, as outlined in the upcoming and possibility section.
