The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will participate in the International Aryan Summit 2025, commemorating the 200th Birth Anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and 150 years of Arya Samaj’s service to society. The event will take place at Rohini, New Delhi, on October 31, 2025.
On this occasion, a ₹200 commemorative coin dedicated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and a ₹150 commemorative coin honouring the Arya Samaj will be released.
The summit, organised as part of the Jyāna Jyoti Festival, aims to honour Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s enduring legacy in education and social reform, celebrate 150 years of Arya Samaj’s contributions to nation-building, and promote global awareness of Vedic principles and Swadeshi values in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The event will bring together representatives from Arya Samaj units across India and abroad, reflecting the universal relevance of Maharshi Dayanand’s reformist ideals and the organisation’s far-reaching global influence. A special exhibition titled “150 Golden Years of Service” will also be featured, highlighting Arya Samaj’s remarkable journey through its contributions to education, social transformation, and spiritual upliftment.
Significantly, the ₹200 and ₹150 commemorative coins are being issued in Nickel Silver for the very first time, representing an important milestone in the evolution of Republic India’s coinage. It is also a unique occasion, as both the founder of the Arya Samaj and the organisation itself are being honoured together for the first time.
This release will the 27th and 28th commemorative coin for the year 2025. Additionally, several more commemorative coin releases are expected this year, as outlined in the upcoming and possibility section.
