The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹150 commemorative coin issued to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Acharya Jawahar Lal Maharaj. The bookings are open from November 17, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.
Earlier on November 16, 2025, the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat, along with the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulabchand Kataria, released the coin and a postal stamp to mark the occasion at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. The event was graced by Maharashtra’s Minister of Skill Development, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha; Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Prashant Narnaware; Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra, Shri Amitabh Singh; Trustee of the Jaskaran Bothra Foundation, Shri Siddharth Bothra; and several other distinguished guests.
The ₹150 commemorative coin is available in Proof sets, presented in a Folder/Blister pack. Additionally, it is also offered in a UNC Set with Folder/Blister pack and Proof Set with an MDF box packaging option might be issued later.
The Proof Set is priced at ₹5,120 presented in a Folder/Blister pack.
These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
