The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin issued to mark the 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The bookings are open from October 7, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.
Earlier, on October 1, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the commemorative coin along with a special postal stamp to mark the event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.
The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a folder or blister pack. Additionally, the UNC Set with a folder or blister pack, as well as the Proof Set with an MDF box, may be issued at a later date.

This commemorative coin is expected to be highly sought after as it marks a historic milestone in Indian coinage. For the first time, Bharat Mata appears on an Indian coin, shown in Varad Mudra with a lion, being saluted by swayamsevaks in reverence. Beyond its numismatic value, the coin reflects cultural pride, national identity, and the centenary legacy of the RSS.
